NAHC offers training workshops in all areas of hands-on maintenance, construction procurement and contracting, as well as construction management.
NAHC’s ability to provide quality training services stems from its managers’ direct experiences with various housing entities and their personnel, which has led to NAHC's strong belief in training and counseling to owners or managers, providing technical assistance and support in all areas of the housing management.
Under its training services, NAHC’s training personnel have provided extensive workshops to a number of housing professionals from across the country. NAHC’s training personnel have provided pre- and post-occupancy training to tenant homebuyers as well as one-on-one maintenance training to individual homebuyers.
NAHC has been successful in assisting and training numerous housing entities in areas ranging from the implementation of modernization rehabilitation programs, to the interpretation and creation of written housing policies and plans to Annual Performance Reports. Its most popular training specialty has been providing hands-on maintenance workshops.
Another training area that NAHC is proud to be supporting and implementing is a training-rehabilitating program between several tribal housing entities and their local Work Investment Act Programs (WIA).
